8th Lesvos Enduro MTB Map

The area of Klapados is in the center of the island, 5 km northern of Kalloni. Dense pine forest covers the entire area and low vegetation of ferns and primeval oak create a wonderful landscape.
Two of the island’s many waterfalls are well hidden in the area. With a height of just over 15 meters, the first one and the much smaller the second impress us. Nature offers magical images while the water falls with force creating small ponds. Somewhere nearby is the abandoned village of Klapados which takes us back to old times when man was one with nature and directly connected to it.
There in these beautiful landscapes, local cyclists have discovered the old trails, cleaned them, added their own imagination and offer them to us for the needs of the 8th Lesvos enduro mtb
The area of Kalloni in combination with Skala Kalloni offer the visitor the ease of movement since they are located on a plain. The gulf of Kalloni, famous for the local sardines which in their season are the best meze for ouzo, is the largest of the island and directly connected to the economy, tourism and the lifestyle of the residents!
